
Kim Hillier
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Kim is a former competitive figure skater who also played soccer, basketball, volleyball, and gymnastics. She understands the mindset of driven athletes and the importance of strength, mobility, and quality movement. As a mother of two, she also appreciates the demands of a busy life and the challenges of balancing health, fitness, and recovery.
She delivers personalized, movement-focused physiotherapy to individuals of all ages and activity levels, from recreational and professional athletes to weekend warriors and active families. Her treatment approach is centered on helping clients move better, build resilience, and optimize their performance in sport and daily life.
Kim holds a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Nutrition. Her Honours research in Sports Psychology was conducted under the mentorship of a Sports Psychologist for the National Hockey League, further shaping her understanding of the mental and physical aspects of performance and rehabilitation. She also has experience as a personal trainer who has worked with elite adolescent athletes, adults focused on overall health and fitness, as well as fire training candidates.
Kim is passionate about helping clients recover from injury, improve movement quality, and enhance their overall well-being—whether that means returning to sport, preventing injury, or simply moving through life with more confidence and strength. As a busy professional and mother of two, she understands firsthand the importance of staying active, healthy, and pain-free in all stages of life.
